I have 2 external hard drives connected, and they won’ t read on newest firmware 1.16. They get stuck on “connecting to USB”… They worked fine on previous firmware that I was using 1.11.14… seems most stable. Hard drives were connected to PC, scanned for errors and no issues found there. Hard drives are in standard format (ext32?)
I have yet to try a reset to factory options, but nothing has changed except firmware version.
Other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Fat32 and NTFS are standards (as far as anything done by Micros~1 can be called that) supported by the WDTV. ExFAT is a new format that the WDTV does not support.
