Hard Drive Playback problem, please help

Hello,

Using a wdtv live hub with a 3tb Wd hd connected to it.

I usually turn off the Hub to standby mode in order to use NAS functionality,

Recently when powering on from standby when I try to play media both from internal and external HD , the player stalls on the orange arrow circle. I need to do full power off cycle in order to resume normal play.

I reset even tried resetting to factory default settings to no avail, problem continues to persist. 

Please help.

ps using latest firmware.

Hi,  check if you have the latest firmware update installed, you can also press the reset button on the bottom side for 1 second.

Yes it’s the latest firmware unfortunately.

These are movies that previously played with no problem?

Yes, and it plays perfectly fine after a hard reboot.
