Hard Drive Not Viewable in Windows Explorer

Hard drive can be detected in Device Manager with no issues, however, it cannot be read in Windows Explorer. Furthermore, chkdsk and other disk management software cannot connect to the hard drive stating I/O error. The temporary fix so far is to reinstall the hard drive, which somehow makes it discoverable. I’ve already tried a different SATA and power cable.

It seems like the drive has gone bad and you should replace the drive if it is under warranty period. Please refer to the link given below in order to know how to apply for the RMA.
