Hi, I have a MyCloud EX 2100 running firmware 2.11.140, with one 2TB WD drive. When I configure an ISCSI target, and connect an initiator, the hard drive starts making noise. Not ticking like the drive is bad, more like activity. It has happened twice so far. I deleted the ISCSI target, formatted the drive, reconfigured ISCSI, and it started making noise again. Disk status show it is healthy. Has anyone experienced this behavior?

Are you able to connect the 2TB unit to a desktop PC to test that with the WD DLG tool? If yes, please do so. If stills the same after that, please try reaching out to WD Support for direct assistance on this case.
