Does anyone can tell me how i can format my disk with ntfs and work on mac and windows? I formatted the hard drive(my mistake) and i not kept  the software that came with the disk. With “mac os extended” it not works on windows but with fat32 i have the problem of the 4Gb size files. Sorry my english i’m portuguese.

Hi dude, NTFS is Windows ONLY, hence, it’s read only on a Mac unless you use software able to write into NTFS drives.

To format the drive to NTFS, right click your drive on Windows and select “Format”, then choose the settings you want.
