Why does it take so long to backup my Hard Drive? 2 hours and only 28G copied. Should I ditch Smartware or return

Delmonte5, how are you connecting your external hard drive to your PC (USB, FireWire)?
If it’s USB, it may be the USB drivers you have loaded are out of date. You may want to try to find and download the most current drivers and retry your backup.
I don’t know much about the FireWire. I’ll defer to someone who does to help with that.
