Hard drive 2.5 inch spins up and makes noise then stops spinning

hi,

i have WD model: WD5000BEVT-22ZAT0 DCM: EBCVJHBB.i connect to power. it spins up and speed down then makes clicking noise 2 times then spins up. this event repeats 5 times before it stops spinning.

Do you have the drive connected internally on a laptop or is connected on a external enclosure?
