Hard disk not recognized

Hello,

I have a laptop, Hp dv7-6192sf, with seven. I have also 2 similar external hard disk WD with usb 3.0.

The first hard disk, is working well, and is recognizedby by my laptop. But with the second it’s different, it is not recognized by my laptop.

It is not recognized on the usb 3.0, but on the 2.0, it works well.

When I go to the list of the device connected on the computer, it is not here.

So, how can I resolve it ???

Try using an additional USB cable, shorter than 18 inches.  You can also try updating the USB 3.0 drivers on your PC, and updating the drive’s firmware.
