Hard disk issue

When I connected my hard disk to my laptop, Light is glowing But hard disk is not detecting, I have 3 years warranty Please Help me with this issue

You can follow the steps outlined below:

1.Plug the drive with a different USB cable

2.Plug the drive to a different computer

3.Connect the hard drive to a different USB port.

4.Look for the drive under device manager and disk management.
