Hard disk asking for format!

Hi,

 Accidentally my hard disk fell down from a table… Now it coundnt detect in my laptop rather asking for format… If I format that will I loose all my data’s stored in??? Is there a way to recover my data’s after formatting?? Please help me…

The disk is most likely physically damaged professional data recovery is the best way to get the most data back.

I was having the same problem before, but thanks for TestDisk that helped me to fix the problem.

try using TestDisk which might be able to help you to fix the problem.

If your drive fell and data is important - advise with professional data recovery service first. We see too many dropped drives come in dead with sever platter damage due to software recovery (which can take hours and hours) exhaustion with heads that been in the collision with platters.
