Grumph. Comp. won't recognize my WD Elements Portable hard Drive

So my computer won’t recognize my external hard drive. It’s worked for a few years and now suddenly my computer doesn’t pull it up. The white light DOES show up when I plug it in, the computer makes the connection beep noise but that’s it. My UVCViewer shows the device is there, but has this message:

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks so much

Check on the disk manager window, if it shows there your information might be corrupted. Use a data recovery program.

It does not show up when I pull up disk manager

Ok nevermind. It must’ve been the wrong cord because I found my other cord and it works. For now… Fingers crossed…

Thanks anyways.
