Group Access not working

When I set up a Shared Folder, with a Group and a User linked, it seems that in every situation the User Permissions are overriding the Group. Is there a way to turn off the User and force Groups.

IE:
Group: Edit & User: Edit = I can edit
Group: Edit & User: Read = I can read
Group: Edit & User: Disable = I can’t access

Group: Read & User: Edit = I can edit
Group: Read & User: Read = I can read
Group: Read & User: Disable = I can’t access

Group: Disable & User: Edit = I can edit
Group: Disable & User: Read = I can read
Group: Disable & User: Disable = I can’t access

It seems the Group is never working.

Thanx for the help

Hi, unfortunately it is not possible, on a network environment “Deny” or “Disable” will always take precedence, the only way that I believe that might be possible to workaround this will be on a Windows domain environment that you can provide special permissions to different users. IE: Allowing permission to write on a sub folder while having read only access on the main folder.
