Giving Someone Access

I have created a folder for a friend of mine on the Cloud Device.  Gave him his own username/password as well.  If he wanted to access his folder to upload files to, is it as simple as giving him the ip address of the drive and his username/password or is there more to it?

how is he accessing the mycloud currently? On your LAN? or remotely?

if he is already accessing the mycloud to read file it is just a matter of granting full access for his user on the share

for security you don’t generally want to expose the mycloud directly on the Internet, use the remote access setup and the wd mycloud app (prefereed) or http://wd2go.com site and map a drive
