Getting two sets of backup files using Anywhere Backup?

When I use WD Anywhere Backup (V. 4.00.5484) to backup my folder “Mike” (C:\Users\Mike) to my WD MyBook external drive, I end up with two similar backups (taking up twice the amount of disk space.  I get two sets of C_\Users\Mike\etc.   I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong or if there is a glitch in the backup software.

One set is under the heading of _dcm and the other under C_       It looks something like this:

WD_AnywhereBackup
    Memeo
        _store
       C_Mike
            -dcm
                  C_
                       Users
                           Mike
**List of all my folders starts here**
                  _temp
                  C_
                       Users
                            Mike
**List of all my folderds starts here**

Thank you for your help.

Mike

The DCM files contain the same names of the files/folders within your backup but are not copies of your files but instead metadata (data on your backup).  Please see WD KB #2709 in the link below for more information:

What are *.dcm files and how are they associated with WD Anywhere Backup

Additionally, the current version of WD Anywhere Backup is 4.50.6554 and you can download that from our product registration website.
