I had run into this problem before, but generally “run as administrator” on Win7 x64 fixed the privilege error. Not this time. Any ideas? Now I am apparently unable to use my external drive (My Passport Ultra). This latest incident was trying to upgrade to WD SmartWare 22.214.171.124 Windows Release (June 17, 2015). Yes, I have rebooted my machine, and attempted to reinstall the software from scratch, and to run the executable in administrator mode. No luck. Help! - ferg
