Getting Passport Ultra to Work

While transferring my programs and files from a PC desktop to a new laptop I somehow erased EVERYTHING on my Passport Ultra. Is there a simple set of downloads I can use to get it up and running again? I tried downloading the half dozen PC downloads but nothing seems to start up automatically.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can create the automatic backup of your computer to the My Passport using WD Backup Software.

I was told, by a WD Tech, in setup of My Passport, not to back up the computer. I thought that was because of Windows Updates. I only use it to back up Files, which contains pictures.
