Get rid of excess Windows share folders?

New user here…When having the WD box look at Windows Shares on a particular PC, It shows a folder entry for every windows shared folder, even if that folder has no photos or videos in it. Is there a way to have the WD Live Hub only look and display the folders I want it to???

There’s a couple of things you can do:

Set up a specific user account just for the WDTV, and do NOT allow the WDTV access to the shares you don’t want it to see.

Or, use the Media Library function, and only add the shares you want – you only do that once, when you set up the box.
