Hi everyone,

I am using a WD MyCloud Mirror 10TB since a couple weeks, connected to the internet through a Speedport router (German Telekom). Since today, while being connected (locally connected to the LAN) to the WD MyCloud from my desktop (Win 8.1), trying to rename media files to prepare them for use with Plex, I am receiving every few minutes the error message “Gerät ist offline”.

The problem is not related to remote access - I was travelling recently and did not face any problems connecting through the internet to WD MyCloud.

Any ideas?

Hi there, welcome to the WD Community.

I would set an static IP address on the My Cloud and use it that way to see if it behaved correctly.
