Gen 1 or Gen 2?

Not fully sure how to tell if a model is Gen 1 or Gen 2, so I wanted to post for feedback.

Looking at picking up one from BestBuy.

“Western Digital-WD TV Live Media Player-WDBAAN0000BK-NESN”

Any idea if this one is Gen 1 or Gen 2?

There is only 1st Gen WD TV Live But there does seem to be 2 different order #'s I assume for different regions.

Is there a way to find out if there is a Gen 2 planned for release anytime soon? I have 1 of these boxes already and would like to pick up 3-4 more, would be a lot to spend if there is a Gen2 rolling out “soon.”

Only WD would know that and getting any info out of them is impossible!!
