I was trying to do a back on my I Mac and when I connected the Gdrive and tried to power it on it simply didn’t
I then tried my Macbook Pro and I have also tried on a Mcbook Air, nothing.
I am panicking as I had 3T of pictures 
did you have the same problem ?
Make sure the power adapter you are using is the correct one. Is it the G-DRIVE USB-C or just G-DRIVE USB?
If it is the USB-C model it will have a 19V adapter, the USB version will have a 12v 2a adapter. Verify these and then if you are not getting any power to the drive still make contact our support. 888.426.5214 for the US.
