My G-Drive (4TB) USB 3.0 (0G02537 | GDREU3PB40001BDB) is not working anymore. Upon connecting it I only get the light in the front to blink on/off continuously. What can I do to restore my drive and retrieve all of my files from the drive?
Make sure you are using the proper power adapter. Blinking nonstop can be a sign of lack of power. Your adapter should have an output of 12v and 2a. If you are using the correct one and still not being recognized then it would be a hardware failure in the unit. If it is under warranty you can generate an RMA on our website for a replacement.
If the data inside is needed then you would need to look into a data recovery option. Either opening the enclosure and trying the drive in another case or sending to a data recovery company.
