I am helping someone with a 24 TB Studio XL. Can the drives be upgraded, and if yes…what is the max size supported?

Yes they can be upgraded, there is no max capacity. The highest capacity you can even buy as an enduser currently are 12TB.
Great, so 8 TB or 10 TB drives is what I am looking at…any recommended drive? Should I look at Reds? or something different?
The drives are tested specifically with HGST Ultrastar and WD Gold enterprise drives but Reds should work fine.
