I just purchased a Studio R online and can’t figure out how to set it to Raid 1, I see Raid 1E as an option but not Raid 1, does this unit not have the ability for Raid 1 or am I doing something wrong?
RAID1 is made for units with 2 drives. They mirror each other 1:1. The unit you purchased has 4 drives. Its optimal RAID setting is the one it ships in, which is RAID5. It allows the protection of a single drive failure and you can continue to use the drive.
