G-speed Shuttle Xl

Hey everyone,
I just have a quick but important question regarding the Shuttle XL.

Im planning to buy some of them, but I was thinking, will there be an upgrade option to thunderbolt 3, as most thunderbolt 2 devices I know have like a support card which can be changed.

It would be really cool and makes my investment future proof.

There will be no direct upgrade ability to Thunderbolt 3. If we release a version with Thunderbolt 3 the controller and enclosure would have to be changed.
