Hi,
I bought an 8bay 36TB TB3 drive for an edit suite for its speed and reliability. However, the fan noise is loud enough to be a problem. I know it’s cooling the drives but this is not normal compared to an 8-bay Pegasus which is quiet.
This storage is not cheap and is really not exceptable.

It there a way to fix this?

You could pull the drives out and see if maybe using some canned air through the chassis will fix the fans, possibly one is slightly off and the noise is due to vibration. Other than that the only thing we could do is replace the chassis under warranty if it is beyond the store return period.
