hello, A friend give a gspeed es pro and is not working, when I turn on the fan speed up and in a few seconds the fan stop, and the hard drives never spin up.
I don’t know if it is a problem withe raid o a problem with the sas cable.
some friend tell me that the raid only make the complete power up if the sas cable his attached but I don’t believe
can you help me please?
The unit will required an active connection to the computer and SAS card. Usually an ATTO R680. Make sure the miniSAS cables are in good order. It is possible the enclosure could have a bad power supply but if that was the case it normally wouldn’t even power on at all.
