Hello, I would like to buy a 8TB G-RAID Thunderbolt disk.
I have read on the G-Technology website that it works with 10.9 or later OS, but I thinkt it refers to their configuration utility. Will the drive work with 10.6.8 ? I still use Final Cut Pro 7…
It is possible it would work if you indeed have a Thunderbolt port on the system and not just mini displayport. But all of our currently produced Thunderbolt RAIDs are Thunderbolt 2 and 3 and include USB as well. The original G-RAID w/ Thunderbolt only is a TB1 device and and has been out of production for years.
And we start off at 10.9 because that is when TB2 was introduced.
