I have an older G-RAID Studio 4TB drive. The drive will start up (apparently) when NOT connected via Thunderbolt (by this I mean the front logo lights up white - no red flashes or anything). However, the moment I connect a Thunderbolt cable to one of my laptops the drive logo light goes out and the drive does NOT mount (I can plug the cable into the drive first with no issue - it’s completing the circuit with a computer Thunderbolt port that’s the problem). If I try to boot the drive WHILE it is connected via Thunderbolt, the logo light flashes some red and some white - but the drive still won’t mount. Any ideas most appreciated. Thanks.
