G-RAID Removable RAOD1 WIndows 10

I have G-RAID 8TB Removable USB3.0 on Windows 10. Appears that I have successfully setup RAID1 with the G-Tech utilities, mounted drive and set up initial volume in disk management that appears to be 4TB.

How do I verify that the RAID1 configuration is working correctly? I don’t want to have a failure situation only to find out that the RAID1 mirror was not working.

The fact that it shows only one drive and its half capacity means it is working properly.

The software you need to convert the G-RAID to a RAID1 is here: G-RAID removable with TB Utility

After it has been converted to RAID1 you’ll need to create a partition and format the drive in Disk Management.
