Bought a G-Raid (not thunderbolt) with 3 various drive input/outputs on back. 2 x 2 TB. only one 2 tb drive shows up in Disk Utility OSX, therefore cannot use RAID feature. What’s the problem?
The G-RAID will only show one drive, not multiple. The G-RAID is a hardware RAID device so the computer won’t know its 2 drives. It is already RAIDed out of the box as a RAID0 device. And depending on if its a removable or not device it cannot be changed.
Removable G-RAID units can be changed but not the closed units.
