Hi, I’m looking for help really. I’ve received two new 4TB hard drives but they are both showing purple LEDs and not showing up on my Mac, could it be the casing that needs replacing? Any advice would be welcomed

They should be blue when in perfect order. If they are not mounting the first thing to check is make sure they are using the proper power adapters.
If you just placed replacement drives in an the enclosure you will need to create a new RAID with them. They won’t mount until they are formatted. In this situation since it is a RAID device you will need to use our RAID configurator and create one either as a RAID0 (both drives striped together for one large, fast drive) or RAID1 (mirror, backup)
