G-Drive Thunderbolt worth the extra money over USB-C?

Hi,

I’m choosing between a G-Drive 14TB Thunderbolt 3 and a 14TB USB-C for video editing.

Is the G-Drive 14TB Thunderbolt worth the extra money over the USB-C version? And Why?

Transfer speed / RPM (USB-C version not stating a 7200RPM drive) / noise / daisy chaining …

The USB-C SSD is cheaper, but the thunderbolt 3 ssd has quicker read/write speeds but I wasn’t sure if that would matter when I’m editing 4K footage in Premiere. Can I get by with just the USB-C version? mcdvoice
