G-DRIVE mobile USB Media 4TB cannot format on MAC

I tried to format my new G-DRIVE mobile USB Media 4 TB on a Mac (2 years old), but my utilies said that it is to big to format. How can i solved this. I need it for a MAC and a Windows 10 computer.

You need to use the format exFAT. There is no disk or file size limitation.
