I would like to use a G-Drives usb-c port to connect with a MacMini’s Thunderbolt 2. Can I do this with a usb-c cable connected to an Apple adapter (usb-c to Thunderbolt 2)?
Only if the G-DRIVE you have has Thunderbolt 3. USB-C even though it shares a port does not share an interface with Thunderbolt and they are not interchangeable.
