G-Drive 3GB USB running hot

I have a G-Drive 3GB USB external drive. It is always running and the temps are always 140 to 150f or 60 to 70c.

This seems really hot to me!

Running Windows 10 pro…

My power plan option are set to put the drives to sleep after 20 minutes of non use. USB selective suspend is enabled.

What else can I do to have have it spin down when not in use. Its always running when my computer is on. Which is most of the day.
