Full factory restore

Hi all,

Why does a full factory restore takes approx. 18 hours? What does this process exactly do? I had my new 3 TB MBL only filled with 5 GB, and the full factory restore takes ages. Is a full factory restore bad/harmful for your MBL? Just wondering  :slight_smile:

A full factory restore just takes time to complete. It’s not harmful to the MBL.

A low level format of the drive/used sectors and factory default config restore.
