I hope this treath is readed by the development of OS5.
I’m working with OS5 now, but I discover problems with a FTP-connection.
Before OS5 I used a specific port for FTP, say 3555 instead of 21.
There were no problems with a backup of my parents PC via internet.
But with OS5, I can change the FTP-port to 3555, but that’s not working.
I get many errors:
Control Channel Transfer Error 114690
553 User is not allowed to upload files
The only way it works, is with port 21, very unwanted en dangerous!
There is an option to block some IP-addresses, BUT, I like to give ONE IP-address access to the MyCloud and BLOCK every other IP on port 21. And that’s not possible! It there a way to revert the access-protocol like I said? I ONLY want to give ONE IP access to the MyCloud and block all of the other IP’s.
I hope this can be realised in the next update. If not, please make it possible to change the port to another number, but with the full FTP-functionality. If I change the port to 3555, I can connect to the MyCloud, but there is something wrong with the permissions or file/directory listing.
