Frustated - 2nd device fails

I sent the 2nd WD live HUB back to my dealer today. Both suffered from poor speed (net, HD) and quit working

after 2-3 days. Unfortunately that happended after hours of copying data. While data was copied normal usage was

impossible. So never had the chance to take a look at the video output…

Is the a major quality issue with the box?

Well, it depends on your expectations.

If you’re expecting more than 10-11 megabytes per second network transfer, then it’s not going to satisfy you.

Now, if you’ve actually had hardware failures, well, that’s a different story.  As far as I know there’s been no reports of systemic hardware failures except for the power switch issue which is disappearing…
