I noticed some problem with the french language on V1.01.24…

Notice that I did not checked every places, like online radio… so might have other places…

video → network share → playing an avi

When you press the option button, you have a small menu that open

“Canal audio” “sous-titres” “Zoom avant” “zoom arrière” “Bouger”… and here come the surprises: “Play mode” (should probably be “Mode de lecture” and the best: “Stab Informationen”…

on youtube playback you have the same “Slab Informationen”

the picture viewer on network share have the same “Play mode” and

music playback on network share (mp3 atleast) have the “Play mode”

Settings

–>audio/video

→ Mode deep color     I’ld have translated it to: “Mode de couleurs” or as microsoft did: “Qualité couleurs”

→ réglage système

→ “Support d’autres encodages”   sound weird

→ “Mettre à jour appareil”… should be “Mettre à jour l’appareil” or even better: “Mise à jour de l’appareil”

Judging by the forum, many localizations are mistakes (French, Italian, German, Russian).
It seems that WD uses google translator:smileyvery-happy:

google translator do a better job… atleast it don’t translate into ?german? what was in english and said to go in french…

it might be actually a simple “off by one” error somewhere too
