does mycloud home duo renconize the harddisk and install the necessary itself?

The Same failure I got. Finally, WD announced that both Hard drives failed. Lost my data.
Maybe your data is still on the drives!!

With the demo version you just can see if the data is really available. If yes, then you have to buy the professional version. It does not work with a cheaper version.
