Hi, last night I formatted my 3TB My Book Essentials using WD Quick Formatter for Windows and now it shows that I have 2TB hard drive instead of 3TB , I try second time, still same. Please anyone tell me how to reverse these. Thank you.
You need to select GPT not MRB when you format NTFS drives larger than 2 T. If you are using on XP you need to check the option to use on XP. 32 bit XP noprmally doesn’t recognize drives larger than 2 T.
