This has probably been asked a lot but I am wondering why windows 7 reports that my drive size is 465.74gb but WD says the formatted size should be 500.1?

Hammey, Thanks again for the help. That article answered all my questions. I am not all that happy with the noise or vibrations caused by this drive, but for the money it is hard to beat.
