I had alot of data on my passport that was no good so I formatted the drive. What WD files must i restore to get it working again? I can see the drive on my PC but can’t copy files to it. The passport is a 2TB USB drive. I am running Win 7 64bit OS on my PC. Any help is appreciated!
you don’t need any files on the drive for it to work. ist just a harddrive.
if you’re not able to edit files, thats another problem, nothing to do with the drive itself.
You don’t need any software unless you want the Smartware that may have been on it. Find your drive on the WD site and any software should be in downloads.
