I just bought a new computer, and when I connected my 1 terrabyte My Book external drive to it I get a message to Format the drive before it can be used. If I do this all my data will be lost. How do I get to my Data without doing a Format ?

I am running Windows 10 on a PC.
My problem was solved by the help support at Western Digital.
