Format a USB from the MyCloudEX2Ultra Dashboard?

I have connected the USB to the USB port on the MyCloudEX2Ultra back panel. Can You Format the WD USB 3.0 from the MyCloudEX2Ultra Dashboard?

Is there a way to format the USB without ejecting it and plugging it into my CPU directly?

While the NAS seems to use the type format already on the external USB disk
best to format NTFS from a computer. (I don’t see a dashboard item to do it )

Only use exfat format if you have to unplug the USB external disk and need to have it plugged into a Mac system.
