I’ve got a tricky situation … I have forgotten the admin user password and have been accessing my cloud personal storage as a guest for a while until a problem occurred. The LED light of the device turned to steady blue I didn’t find it with the devices in the network so I unwisely thought of doing a re-setup using the software “WD My Cloud Setup” and I couldn’t do that because I can’t get the admin password.
Also I can NOT access the dashboard to change the password or disable it… every time I try to go to the dashboard a login box shows up requiring the password of the admin user. Now I can access the public folders only as a guest and the LED light is still steady blue.
How can I reset the password without losing my contents ?
