I need help to unlock my drive. I have the My Passport Ultra. I set a password which I have forgotten for a while. Didn’t bother to unlock it because I did not need it until now. Though there is a hint, I’ve tried all the options I could think of and it did not allow me to try any more. Appreciate if anyone could help me unlock it. I use a Mac. Thank you.
How did you encrypted the drive??
did you use any WD software for that ???
if you did then there is no way to retrieve the data on the drive and the only way to reuse the drive is to format the drive and formatting the drive will delete all the data on the drive.
- no one can help in retrieving the password or data on the drive.so keep trying the possible password and also keep check on the upper and lower case letters as the passwords are case sensitive.
