Need help. I forgot password thus cant acess my portable HDD. How to reset password? My HDD formated for mac.

… this is the worst nightmare one can suffer from … God bless you … in my humble opinion, you may lose your entire data for this blunder (sorry to be too harsh in these expressions) … better you don’t use this option again or keep aside the set password always in 3 different secret places where only you have the access … hope it helps your question…!
There is no reset. If you can’t figure out the password you can only reformat the drive.
