You are out of luck if you can’t figureout the password. There is no reset or bypass.

You’ve posted into the wrong section - this is for the MyCloud Mirror NAS drive, not the MyPassport Ultra.
Anyway, unfortunately you’re going to be out of luck. There is no way to recover an encrypted (locked) MP without the password other than reformatting it, which will of course lose your data. That’s the whole idea of the security, that without the password it cannot be recovered (as it warns you when you set it up).
