No.
For security reasons there’s no way around the password. If you fail the attempt a few times it will give you the option to reset (format) the drive, which will give access again but will also completely delete everything that’s on the drive and reset it to factory blank.

No idea - I’ve never tried it.
I would be surprised if a user-level type program could do it. But a professional level recovery could maybe do something, at significant expense.
